Adaptive Control of a Class of Uncertain Dynamic Delay Systems

Abstract

A robust adaptive controller is developed for a class of uncertain linear dynamic delay-systems where the bound of uncertainty is unknown but its functional form is known. It is shown that if a constraint on the norm of the matrix associated with the delayed state is met, then the adaptive controller designed guarantees that all possible responses of the uncertain system are uniformly ultimately bounded. Finally, an example is included to illustrate the results developed in this paper.
